Oaxaca

In this generative series, I aim to depict a simple life of surf and sun, capturing the essence of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Through geometric micro-textures, I pay homage to a place where nature, culture, and simplicity coexist, representing my home of the past few years.

A home in small textures

Oaxaca pays homage to Puerto Escondido, where Lemonhaze lived for several years. Geometric micro-textures evoke a simple life of surf and sun.

The titles draw on Oaxaca’s nature, culture and everyday life. Sunday became a recurring weekly return to that place and time.

A palette carried between places

Oaxaca is one of the series in which Lemonhaze used the My Love palette developed in 99 Francs, before adding Deep Pink in Five Roses. The palette carries a thread between Berlin, Oaxaca and Montreal.
