Progress gives the earlier work its context
Ma ville en quatre temps, Minute, papillon! and Chanchanok’s Temple marked a leap in Lemonhaze’s use of techniques and tools in 2025. His belief that the best work is always the next one does not diminish the earlier work: that progression gives the journey meaning.
Minute, papillon! and Chanchanok’s Temple were made during the same period with the same technique. Both hold particular personal significance for the artist. Minute, papillon! was his submission to the 2025 Lumen Prize.
Three works · Fracture, choice and movement
Glass Breaker, Mending Out and Off-Kilter each pair an abstract with a dated diary entry from April 22, 2025, in Jomtien Beach, Thailand. Their texts move through fracture, the choice to keep going, and movement within imbalance.
Off-Kilter also records the practical work behind the release: Lemonhaze thanks Pawel Dudko and Nathan Cornes (wageDu) for helping fix the earlier version’s mobile display issue.
