Creating for Bitcoin

In May 2023, larger works had become too expensive to inscribe. Tad Small was a practical response: three small pixel works that let Lemonhaze continue creating while working within the cost and file-size constraints of Bitcoin.

This changed his approach: he began creating for the medium and adapting his tools, rather than trying to fit an existing image onto the chain. The micro-canvases led to other small, digitally hand-drawn series during summer 2023.
