Images gain a family
Untitled was Lemonhaze’s first collection with grand-parent-child provenance. It followed Hosoi and Eclosion, his first experiments with this technique of converting images to Base64.
Ten years, and the life beyond the sunset
Avant le Crepuscule was written on the eve of the tenth anniversary of the artist’s relationship. The sunset becomes an uncertain threshold: another life may be waiting beyond it, but he cannot yet tell what that life will be.
La Pomme Pourrite returns to the same relationship through gratitude. His partner saw more than a “rotten apple” in him; ten years later, she remains his reason to become a gentleman. Other notes move between the pleasure of shared places, solitude, and memories he would rather leave behind.
