Infused Products: Coming Together to Find Solutions to Protect Our Youth

CORE, WACA, and The Cannabis Alliance will be discussing possible proposals to address the WSLCB's concerns related to certain edible products. The goal of this session is to identify a proactive approach to this important issue that industry can coalesce around.

Small group discussions (up to 8 people) of existing proposals and/or potential scenarios will allow robust deliberations. Each group will discuss one potential proposal and identify the challenges and responsibilities of each. The focus should be on strategies for incorporating identified areas of concern from the LCB in a way that allows for advancement of the industry. At the end of the roundtable session, each group will report back to the group as a whole. The entire group will then hold a moderated discussion followed by a prioritization ranking of the various proposals.

What this session is: An opportunity for industry to coalesce around sound public policy that will meet the shared goal of a safe, fully regulated marketplace that keeps cannabis products out of the hands of kids.

What this session is NOT: A look backward or a forum for complaints about the WSLCB.
